Our service helps residents of Epping Forest and Harlow District stay connected and independent. It relies on a wonderful team of volunteer drivers who generously give their time and commitment to meet the community’s transport needs.
Their contribution makes a real difference — helping local people access shops, healthcare, and social activities.
Membership
To use our services, all passengers (including escorts) must be members.
Annual Membership Fee: £15.00
Please note: We no longer accept cheque payments.
Booking a Journey
All journeys must be booked through the EFCT office:

Please book at least three clear working days before travel. In an emergency, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
How much does it cost?
Within Epping Forest & Harlow District
Minimum fare: £4.95 (up to 3 miles)
Add 75p per mile for journeys over 3 miles
Outside Epping Forest & Harlow District
Minimum fare: £4.95 (up to 3 miles)
Add £1.00 per mile for journeys over 3 miles
Passengers are asked to cover the volunteer driver’s return mileage
